It’s not just a question for athletes. With college debt spiraling out of control and the pandemic severely impacting the traditional “college experience,” many students are reconsidering their options. In fact, a recent Forbes article reports that 40% of entering freshmen say they’re likely or very likely not to attend on campus in the fall. So, does it make more sense to go to college or go pro?

In other words, are there fields where there’s still demand for employees, and where a four-year degree isn’t a prerequisite?
