Pre-Apprenticeships

  • How long does the pre-apprenticeship program take?

    They usually include 90 – 110 hours of guided virtual training. Candidates generally complete this in 5-6 weeks although some will finish it much faster depending on their level of existing knowledge.

  • Do I get paid to complete the pre-apprenticeship?

    No, the pre-apprenticeship is training on concepts you will cover during your apprenticeship, which is a paid job. We include this step to make sure this is the right career path for you and prepare you for your apprenticeship, which is a paid job.

  • Do I have to pay for the pre-apprenticeship?

    No, the pre-apprenticeship program is covered by government grants so you can complete it at no cost if you complete the required information, which includes your social security number to verify you qualify for the grant.

     

     

     

  • Do I have to attend live training sessions for the pre-apprenticeship?

    No, our training is virtual and you will have access to support from Success Coaches and Subject Matter Experts via Zoom calls.

  • If I complete the pre-apprenticeship, will you guarantee that I get a job?

    We cannot guarantee a job. However, we can guarantee that you are 100% employable as an apprentice. Ideally that will be with an employer that partners with Franklin, but it could be at another employer that recognizes your valuable pre-apprenticeship training and hires you directly.

  • What if I don’t pass the MyInnerGenius Assessment. Can I take it again?

    Yes, you are able to log in and retake the assessment. If you don’t pass and are unsure of the best next step, contact our talent team to discuss your results via email at: talent@franklin.ainsleystaging.com

  • Do I get paid as an apprentice?

    Yes! Apprenticeships are earn-and-learn programs which means you get a salary and time to complete training on-the-job, at no cost to you.

  • How long are the apprenticeship programs?

    Franklin Apprenticeship programs typically last 12-15 months.

  • What happens after I complete my apprenticeship?

    94% of Franklin Apprentices stay at the same company in a full-time role after completing their apprenticeships.

  • Are Franklin’s programs industry recognized?

    Yes. They are registered with the U.S. Department of Labor.
